About Christina Gravert

Everyday life is filled with decisions. Behaving ethically at the work place, the way you interact with you colleagues, whether you give to charity or not, what you purchase or how much effort you put into your work. The environment we live in provides structure for these decisions.

The ultimate goal of my research is to create knowledge in order to design these structures in a better way. I use laboratory and field experiments to understand the underlying biases and preferences of individuals, especially when it comes to dynamic inconsistency and image motivations.

I work both with the public and the private sector in conducting field experiments to understand decision making. Many of these projects are connected to tools of liberitarian paternalism, more commonly known as "Nudging".
